Reefer FHIX 40035 West end after repairs and some new ceiling in stalled, the shelves will provide plenty of needed storage for awaiting material.
During ceiling replacement in Reefer FHIX 40035 Tim Bristow uses a 2x6 braced on his knee to hold up the panel as Marshall Smith tries to attach it with screws. Bob Reib braces the middle of the panel and Howard Bunte struggles with the far end.
Proving that the restroom structure was built extra strong so it could also be used for storage made this moment of concern for Ed Lowrance on the left as Marty Gonzales operates the lift to position a pallet with gondola parts with the help of Don Bayer. The pallet was rotated and placed safely in the strongest area of the ceiling.
Steve and Marty Gonzales struggle with the chute as Bob Tully and Terry push the concrete under the reefer edge and Warren Ringer watches from the far side. This concrete is between the two storage reefers on the North side of the CRF.
Steve holds onto the chute as Bob Tully pushes concrete toward Steve as he and Don Bayer screed the poured concrete. Marty Gonzales pushes concrete to fill in a low spot in front of the screed. This concrete is being poured just East of the two storage reefers located just North of the CRF.
As Steve works the chute, Marty Gonzales and Bob Tully work the concrete and Russ Hanscom and Terry screed. This concrete is being poured on the East side of the CRF in order to utilize the storage cars on the North side.
Don Bayer watches with interest as Bub Tully and Marty Gonzales use rakes to smooth out the wet concrete so Terry and Bob Reib can continue screeding. This concrete is being poured directly East of the CRF in Antonito, CO.
Marty Gonzales works the concrete truck chute as Russ Hanscom levels out the wet concrete. On the right, Ed Lowrance wets the base in preparation for more pours and Warren Ringer smoothes the rock bed and Paul Uhland takes a breather. In the background, Don Bayer and Bob Reib hold the form board in place as Marshall Smith finds a nail and Howard Bunte assists. This pour is on the West side of the CRF at the RIP track.
Bob Reib is at ready with a shovel as Marshall Smith moves the wet concrete and Marty Gonzales moves the chute. Tim Bristow and Howard Bunte get an early start removing the concrete forms on the East side of the storage reefers located North of the CRF.
Howard Bunte removes another form board as Tim Bristow carries of another at the Northeast corner of the CRF. The bolts in the concrete are for the attachment of the walls for the mechanical shed to be build here.
