2009 Work Session M1/M2

August 28, 2009. The vertical parts of the roof that separated the lower and upper portions of the roof were made of wood, and required sanding to remove the old paint. Once preparations were complete, the roof was coated with a viscous, fibrous, aluminum roof paint. This photo shows MILW 222 when the north side of the roof was almost completely painted.
